INGREDIENTS:
- 1 chicken, cut up into pieces
- 4 cloves of garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2/3 cup pearled barley
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1.5 cups of chicken broth
- Frozen peas
- 2 teaspoons of chopped tarragon
DIRECTIONS:
First, brown your chicken for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Next, simply add in the garlic, onion, barley, white wine, chicken broth, and chicken into the slow cooker. Don’t forget to add salt and pepper for seasoning! Cover it up and cook on low for 3 hours.
Stir in frozen peas and tarragon and it’s ready to go!
