It's one of the most beautiful tributes I've ever seen.

Losing someone dear to your heart is definitely one of the most painful events that can happen in your life. When this unfortunate experience happens, all we need is a shoulder to lean on, or sometimes, a song that will lift our spirits up.

That’s exactly what happened to this family in Utah. As they mourn from a loss, they have found a shred of light from Andra Day’s hit song “Rise Up.” However, instead of just listening to the song and somehow finding peace from it, they ended up in an emotional sing-along inside their car.

The video features this beautiful family with Jewell Richins as the head of it.

Jewell is a loving father of seven beautiful children. Not only are these 7 youngsters his “followers” but also over a million more on his social media accounts.

In his YouTube channel’s “About” section, he describes himself as,

“Just a dad who loves his kids & has a ton of fun raising them.”

His social media accounts are filled with memories and activities that they share as a family, but what’s extra special about them are their “mobile mini-concerts.”

His daughters often join him on the road and they regularly give dad a beautiful song to keep him entertained behind the wheel.

Jewell is keeping his description true.

Who would even dare say NO? This awesome dad, unlike some parents who want a peaceful drive, is more than happy for this impromptu serenade from his talented daughters.

I’d say, it’s an awesome way of bonding with your kids. Having talented kids and being able to show it to the rest of the world would definitely make any parent proud.

It’s an unconscious way of honing their talents and building their self-esteem.

But their family is just like any other family, they also go through heartaches.

In one particular video, they’re again inside their car and his daughters were set on another beautiful song.

They dedicated the song “Rise Up” to a loved one, and the performance was so emotional that Jewell ended up tearing up.

Jewell wrote in the video’s description:

“This goes out to my father#2, dialysis ends & a new journey begins. We will never forget you Joe Hill”

His kids haven’t started singing yet but Jewell was already in tears.

Though it’s the same picture from their previous videos wherein they’re happily singing, this one, however, was completely different. You can see from their eyes that they’re going through a tough time.

When “Rise Up” began playing on the track, his 2 talented daughters started belting out the heartfelt lyrics of the song. The song brought this amazing dad to tears- the heartache was evident, and Jewell was not able to hide it.

When the girls hit the chorus, the lyrics hit them hard, especially Jewell.

“And I’ll rise up
I’ll rise like the day
I’ll rise up
I’ll rise unafraid
I’ll rise up
And I’ll do it a thousand times again”

The song brought him to tears but it lifted their spirits.

“Rise Up” is a powerful song, it’s not just an ordinary song that will come and go through your ears. It is something that will stay and resound in your heart and mind.

I’d say it’s the best song for someone who needs to lift their spirits up amidst an emotional predicament.

As they reach the end of the emotional performance, Jewell tossed out a message for Joe:

“We all love you, Joe. We’ll see you on the other side. Thanks for all the memories, bro. Peace out, buddy.”
