While people go to sporting games to see their favorite teams play, there’s also the excitement of watching the half-time show.
Dancers and cheerleaders usually lead the pack to entertain the crowd as their favorite players get a break and review important plays.
The Rocklin High School Cheer team made sure that the audience wasn’t going to go home disappointed by their half-time show.
They walk onto the field in perfect formation as they prepare to entertain the crowd. From the start, you know this is going to be a great show as the team is completely in sync.
As the first beat drops, the crowd starts to cheer.
You can feel the good vibes coming through the screen as if you were really sitting in the crowd.
The dance team starts their routine by bowing their heads.
When they turn around and raise their heads, it’s done in total unison. They work in precision so you can tell that they have been practicing this routine for quite some time. You don’t get in sync like this in just one practice session.
One of the cool things about this performance is that each girl’s arms move perfectly. They each know when it’s their turn to move.
There is no hesitation.
Their confidence shows through in their performance.
Another exciting part of this performance came when the girls squat down during the routine. One-by-one they go down similar to when crowds do the wave during a game.
Then, their performance takes them into one line where they put their legs out in formation. They make it look so easy! Their precision continues throughout the routine as they show off their skills…and there are plenty of them!
You can hear the crowd cheer as the team hits another stellar part of their routine.
One of the amazing things about their routine is that these girls never get tired. They’re energetic throughout the show. That’s when you know you have a good half-time show. High-energy routines can keep the exciting vibe of the game going.
Besides being energetic, these girls also prove how flexible they are.
There is one part of their routine where they all go down into a split. That takes skill and practice!
At the end of their routine, there are plenty of cheers for a job well done. Even people who watched the YouTube video of their performance commented on how well they did.

Although this group of young ladies is known for their stellar moves, they also help the community.
On their Instagram page, they wrote about how they were working to help St. Jude’s and sick children in need.
