Fortunately, with the use of the slow cooker, it’s easier than ever to cook a delicious meal for the family with minimal prep time. Take this delicious crockpot chicken and dumpling recipe as an example. It’s super easy to make – it takes a few minutes to prepare! – and the result is very tasty.
Here’s what you will need:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 4 Grands flaky refrigerator biscuits
- 1 can (14.5 oz.) chicken broth
- ½ diced onion
- 1 tbsp. dried parsley
To start, put the chicken breasts in the crockpot and drop butter on top. Then, pour cream of chicken soup and chicken broth all over. Next, add the dried parsley and onion for a rich flavor.
Cover the crockpot and let it cook on high for 4 to 5 hours.
Once the chicken meat is cooked, shred it and add it back into the soup. After that, cut the biscuits into 9 pieces.
Mix slowly into the soup and cook it on high heat for another hour.
Serve warm!
