If you happen to have little to no knowledge about Western and Southern cuisine, let me give you a quick overview.

Cowboy butter sauce is a rich and flavorful “compound butter” that is often associated with grilled or roasted meat.

It’s popular in Southern cuisine

It has gained popularity in various other regions as well. Cowboy butter sauce typically combines a variety of ingredients.

We’re talkin’ butter, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and spices.

The sauce is made by mixing softened butter with minced garlic, chopped parsley, freshly squeezed lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce (such as Tabasco or Sriracha), and a blend of spices like salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper.

Cowboy butter can be used in different ways.

It is often brushed onto grilled steaks, chicken, or seafood during the cooking process to add flavor and moisture. It can also be served as a dipping sauce alongside cooked meats or used as a spread for bread or rolls.

Now, are you wondering if Mexican street corn is the same as ordinary corn? The answer is NO.

Mexican street corn, also known as ‘elote’, is different from ordinary corn in terms of preparation and flavor.

Elote is a popular street food in Mexico and other Latin American countries, known for its delicious and distinctive taste.

The main difference between Mexican street corn and ordinary corn lies in the way it is cooked and seasoned.

Traditional elote is typically grilled or roasted, which gives it a smoky and charred flavor.

The corn is often cooked in its husk to help retain moisture and impart a subtle earthy flavor.

Now, instead of dipping or brushing cowboy butter sauce on some thick slices of steak, she has decided to fuse this flavorful sauce with Mexican street corn.

Thankfully, it didn’t disappoint.

Step 1: First, let the unsalted butter sit on a preheated pan and wait for it to melt.

While waiting for it to completely melt, you can immediately add the grated clove of garlic and turn off the heat/fire.

Step 2: The residual heat from the pan should be enough to do the job. Now add the remaining ingredients (in any order) and just mix them well.

Once done, put it in a container or cup and jump right on cooking the corn.

Step 3: For the Mexican street corn, it’s pretty straightforward. You just need to slice them and let them boil for 3 to 4 minutes in water with a decent amount of salt.

Look at that corn.

Step 4: You are basically done after that, you just need to make sure to savor the sumptuous flavor of the cowboy butter sauce and Mexican street corn combination.

You may add other flavors to it too, just like what Angelica did by adding some Cotija cheese to it.

The family is already drooling.
