Let’s get one thing clear: nothing can beat the warm, chewy texture of chocolate chip cookies. There’s something about them that whisks us back to simpler times and fond memories. And here at Shareably, we’re here to teach you how to get that perfect cookie. Not only is this a baking classic, but you’re sure to end up with the same fresh batch of soft chocolate cookies every single time.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 egg
  • vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

Combine the sugar and butter in a small bowl and mix. Add in the egg and a splash of vanilla extract and mix until creamy. Using a beater, gradually beat in 1 cup of flour until your mixture is a smooth texture. Add in the chocolate chips.

Refrigerate for 30 minutes before putting chunks of the cookie mixture onto a baking pan. Bake for 17 minutes at 350°F. That’s it!
