I love chicken tortilla soup, but there always seems to be so many steps and so many ingredients to keep track of. Hearty meals require a lot of heart and thought, and sometimes it can get overwhelming to get your soup just right. Enter Shareably.
There’s only one instruction to this recipe, and that’s to enjoy this meal with your family. Just kidding. (not really) We’ll give you the ingredients, and all you have to do is throw them in your slow cooker. Of course, you can add some extra touches of your own (I recommend adding some avocado), but honestly, the classic chicken tortilla soup is enough to satisfy anyone’s cravings.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2-3 Cups Raw Chicken, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 10oz Can Diced tomatoes with Green Chiles
- 1 8oz Can Tomato Sauce
- 2 14.75oz Cans Chicken Broth
- 1 10.75oz Can Cheddar Cheese Soup
- 2 Cups Carrots
- 1/2 Package Frozen Corn (approx. 1-2 cups)
- 1 Large Onion, chopped
- 2 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1/2 Tablespoon Chili Powder
DIRECTIONS:
Just combine all the ingredients into the slow cooker. Cook on high for 5-6 hours or on low for 8 hours, and you’re done. It’s that simple!
