This cabbage dinner is next level.
YouTube channel Cookrate – Meat Recipes shared a savory dish last month, and it made everyone curious and excited.
If you love cabbage, then you will definitely try this at home.
We all know how many dishes we could do with a head of cabbage, right? But did you know that it’s also nutritious?
Loaded with the good stuff.
Cabbage is rich in fiber.
This helps with our digestion.
Now, if you’re worried about your cholesterol levels, then you’d be happy to know that cabbage contains soluble fibers and plant sterols, which can help lower bad cholesterol.
Packed with vitamins and minerals.
If you’re ready to create this delicious meal, let’s go.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 head of cabbage
- 1 kilo of minced meat (you can use the meat of your choice)
- 5 grams of salt
- 5 grams of black pepper
- 2 eggs
- 400 grams of your favorite bacon
- 150 grams of your preferred pressed cheese
- A tray size with the size of 20 X 30 cm
- Oven
How to make it:
Step 1: Wash cabbage and pat dry. Remove lower parts and the inside of the cabbage using a sharp knife. Set aside all the parts you won’t use.
Step 2: In a big bowl, mix meat, 2 eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix well together.
Step 3: Put meat in the cabbage. Make sure it’s compact, and every part of the cabbage has been filled with meat.
Step 4: Create space in the middle of the meat and insert cheese. By this time, some of the meat will overflow. Use this to cover the cheese, then lay it on a flat tray.
Step 5: Use remaining meat to cover the whole cabbage. Now you can see that it looks like an enormous ball of meat.
Step 6: Use bacon to cover the ball of meat. Looks amazing? Wait till you see the finished recipe.
Step 7: Bake in the oven for two hours at a temperature of 320°F.
The color is so beautiful, and with the smell of the bacon, you will surely want to dig in!
