Before we get into the recipe, let’s entice you with some benefits that we can enjoy by eating tuna.

Tuna isn’t just delicious; it’s also packed with health benefits that will make you want to eat it often.

Tuna is heart-friendly because it comprises omega-3 fatty acids. This helps reduce the cholesterol that’s building up in our arteries.

Tuna helps lower blood pressure because it’s rich in potassium. Omega-3 fatty acids and potassium, when combined, will have an anti-inflammatory effect on our cardiovascular system. These two can help reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke.

Tuna also prevents the risk of cancer by giving us antioxidants, which work great in fighting cancer cells.

Tuna also helps in improving your skin’s health with its Vitamin B complex. So, if you want glowy skin, add tuna to your regular diet.

When the oil is hot, add your minced garlic. Sauté until you smell its fragrance. Make sure not to burn the garlic.

Then, add the green onions and sauté for another 1 minute.

Once that is done, you can now add the tuna and fry for about 30 seconds (smells good already!)

Then, add the fish sauce and lemon juice

Add pepper to taste

Cook for another 2 minutes. This will allow the tuna to absorb the flavors of the seasonings.

Serve on top of steamed rice and enjoy!

Additional tip:

If you only have tuna in water, it would be better to drain the water from the tuna. Once the water is all drained, you can use one tablespoon of olive oil for the recipe.
