Now, healthy food doesn’t have to taste plain. That’s why you should make this delicious carrot, cabbage, and apple salad.
You’ll need the following:
- 1/4 green cabbage
- 1/4 red cabbage
- 1 large carrot
- 1 apple
- 2 Green onions
For the dressing:
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 large lemon
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon honey
How to prepare this delicious salad:
Step 1: Clean and prepare your vegetables. First, thinly chop the red and green cabbage and set it aside.
Step 2: Peel the carrot and grate it. Set aside. Then, peel your apples and cut them to your desired thickness.
Step 3: Lastly, chop your green onions and set them aside with the other ingredients.
Step 4: In a clean jar, combine your salt, dried oregano, and olive oil, and squeeze one large lemon. Then add the mustard and honey. Mix the dressing well.
We don’t want the honey sticking to the bottom of the bottle.
Step 5: In a bowl, put all your ingredients and then the dressing. Mix well and enjoy.

- You could use a green apple. She used red for the contrast of colors.
- You can choose to peel the apple skin or leave it just like she did.
- Squeeze the lemon but make sure to remove all the seeds.
