The song ‘Love Moves In Mysterious Ways’ says,
“Still it’s a mystery
How you ever came to me
Which only proves
Love moves in mysterious ways”
That’s what exactly happened to Bruce Willis.
This man has nothing left to prove.
He is an American actor and film producer. He starred in some famous blockbuster movies like Pulp Fiction, the Sci-Fi movie Looper with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, The Expendables, and yes, who could possibly forget the Die Hard franchise?
“He is the recipient of several accolades, including a Golden Globe, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and two People’s Choice Awards. He received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2006.”
He is indeed an institution, a gifted artist, and an incredibly humble guy. The world is so lucky to have a Bruce Willis.
Willis’ personal life.
He married American actress Demi Moore back in 1987 and they were gifted with three beautiful children, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. They had a good run for over a decade but, unfortunately, their love story was nowhere near what we see in the movies.
Bruce and Demi, just like any other couple, had some rough patches in their married life, and as the road got bumpy, they eventually fell off the cliff of their relationship that led to a divorce. They got divorced in 2000.
In relation to the divorce, Bruce said:
“I felt I had failed as a father and a husband by not being able to make it work.”
Despite the money and fame, he is just a human – like us.
See, real people exist in the real world, and even Bruce Willis had gone through the darkest corners of life. In 2004, he and actress Brooke Burns got engaged, but separated after 10 months of being together.
Another failed relationship and another heartbreak. It almost looked like love had deserted Bruce.
Would he ever find love again?
The answer is “YES!”
They say time heals, and it does. It did mend Willis’s broken heart. Then he met Emma, the woman who picked his broken pieces up and put them back where they belong.
During the tough times, Willis shared that it wasn’t easy.
“I spent the last 10 years single and, for the most part, unhappy. In a dark place. I never thought that being with someone else was the answer. I would say, ‘I’m alone, but I’m not lonely.’ But I was just kidding myself.”
Emma unfolded a brand new chapter in Bruce’s life.
When he thought that life had turned its back on him, Emma proved him wrong. She saved his life and most especially his heart.
Pretty soon, their romantic relationship blossomed and they tied the knot in 2009.
They have two beautiful daughters, Mabel and Evelyn. Their story is like a fairy-tale, they are like the missing pieces of each other’s puzzles. They made such a beautiful family, something that everyone wishes to have.
Willis had to wait 57 years to finally find the “ONE.”
“I don’t ever want to be away from her.”
That sounds like a deeply in-love Hollywood action star right there. Though we bet Emma also feels the same way. This couple is like a match made in heaven. Their love story is beautiful and so is their family.
Bruce and Emma prove that you don’t need to rush love because the right one will knock on your door at the right place and at the right time, just like what happened to them.
