Stuffed puff pastry in a pepper
Not only is the recipe easy, but it’s also beautiful.
These blooming stuffed bell peppers are easy to make and will become your family’s favorite.
Let’s prepare the ingredients:
- 6 red bell peppers
- 1 onion
- 300 grams of minced meat
- 3 grams of salt
- 3 grams of black pepper
- 20 grams of parsley
- 100 grams of puff pastry
- 80 grams of cheese
- 1 medium-sized egg
- You’ll need a 24×30 cm tray and an oven.
Step 1. Cut the top part of your bell pepper and remove the seeds. Don’t forget to include the remaining bell pepper on the top part because we don’t want to waste any food.
Step 2. Dice excess bell pepper from the top part. We’ll use that for the filling.
Step 3. Cut your bell pepper so that it would look like a flower and set it aside.
Step 4. Dice your onions and saute. Add your chopped bell pepper. Let it cook for a minute and add your minced meat.
Step 5. Add salt, pepper, and parsley. Cook for a few minutes and allow to cool.
Step 6. Prepare your puff pastry and add one tablespoon of your meat filling. Add one cube of cheese and seal.
You’ll create a ball that you’ll put inside the bell pepper flower.
Step 7. Complete all 6 bell pepper flowers and put them in your tray. Apply egg wash and then proceed into cutting the pastry on top until it resembles a flower.
Step 8. Bake at 355℉ for 15 minutes.
Look at that golden-brown crust, fragrant peppers, and creamy, cheesy filling.
