Weddings are supposed to be magical and special. It’s a once in a lifetime experience that will be forever treasured not only by the couple but also by the people who are present on that special day.
It’s the day that everyone has been waiting for, especially the love birds who are about to tie the knot.
Of course, the wedding would not be complete without the emotional father giving the bride one last dance before he lets go of his beloved daughter.
This dad, however, doesn’t just want some ordinary wedding dance with his daughter.
This father and daughter dance duo shocked everyone when they turned an ordinarily sweet dance into something entirely unexpected on such occasion.
We often see wedding surprises, and oftentimes it’s the groom who gives his bride something that she would never expect, like a dance production.
Other surprises are also the parting cheesy message that fathers have prepared for their daughters.
More often than not, these are meant to catch everyone off-guard. These surprises also move people to tears and sometimes pushes them through unending waves of laughter.
This dad, however, doesn’t want tears during his daughter’s wedding – so he decided to stir up things a little.
In a video uploaded by a YouTube channel named BP Film & Photo, a dance show took the spotlight when Mikayla (the bride) and her father (“Nate-daddy”) had a surprise for the rest of their families and friends.
At first, they pretended to dance to a sweet and calm melody.
Then, just seconds after, the music jumped to “U Can’t Touch This” by MC Hammer, and so did they!
They popped-out their sunglasses and flaunted their well-choreographed dance routine to the lively beat.
The unsuspecting crowd were all stunned but still ended up cheering for the father and daughter duo.
And oh, you can definitely see the confidence emanating from them.
They also did some hippie dance to “Apache (Jump On It)” by Sugarhill Gang.
When LMFAO’ “Party Rock Anthem” came on, the duo alternated with their silly body-waves and mixed their dance with some goofy acts. They’re simply unstoppable!
This is just too good for a surprise!
What played next on the track was “Shake Your Groove Thing” by Peaches & Herb.
Mikayla and her dad then did the ageless “groove”. The crowd was going wild because their cheers could be heard loud in the background. It seems the crowd just couldn’t get enough of the dancing duo.
“Nagada Nagada” from Bollywood’s Jab We Met movie was also performed by daddy Nate and Mikayla.
If you would try to check the original video, you would see that they really did the same dance – just like in the movie.
It looks like they’re doing all dances, from different generations, and different regions.
They brought the house down when they pumped it out to “Juicy Wiggle” by Redfoo!
What they were doing was really out of the ordinary for what’s supposed to be a “sweet” celebration dance.
But hey! They love it and the crowd loves it, stopping the fun would definitely spoil the lively moment, don’t you think so?
Even the DJ in the back was grooving!
With the way the whole wedding reception went wild, you know their routine was epic! Dare we even say that it might just be the BEST father-daughter dance around? Yes, yes we do!
Mikayla and her dad didn’t look tired at all, they still had the energy to do some funny routines when they danced to “It’s Not Unusual” by Tom Jones.
We’re not quite sure, but it almost looks like we’re watching a dance showdown!
And oh, yes! They didn’t forget to bust some slick moves to the forever dance-favorite beat of “Dessert” by Dawin.
Seriously, is there anything this duo can’t do?
The final music had to be the best because it’s “Bye Bye Bye” by *NSYNC. We would probably all agree that it’s the best song to wrap things up, right?
By the way, their video has already gained more than 29 million views since it was uploaded on YouTube back in 2016. How about that?
