There’s something special that happens when a baby sees his dad. Have you ever noticed how excited they get?

One video clearly shows that special bond. When one little boy saw his dad come home from work, it lit up his entire world. You could see it all over his face.

The little boy’s mom filmed the video and it was shared on YouTube six years ago by Jonathan Senigaglia, who we’re assuming is the little boy’s dad. Since it was shared six years ago, it’s received more than 150,000 views.

You can see mom hold the baby while dad is off-camera. The little boy starts giggling and smiling right away. Must be dad!

Yep, when the camera widens out, you see dad with a big smile on his face!

Father and son get a little nose nuzzling in as the little boy smiles and giggles contently.

After holding him for a while and seeing the reaction, mom hands the baby to dad so the two can have some one-on-one time.

We’re assuming that mom has had the baby for a good part of the day and dad is just getting home to see his baby. The two have some playtime together.

And as you can tell, this time isn’t anything that involves a lot of toys or anything like that. It’s just some playful time between a father and his child.

When it comes to babies and their dads, many dads get excited because “dada” is usually said before “mama”. Some experts say that’s because the “m” sound is more difficult for babies to make than the “d” sound.

The “m” sound requires forcing air through the nose while the “d” sound doesn’t. So it probably doesn’t have anything to do with favoritism after all!

There’s actually no scientific evidence to show that babies prefer their dads over their moms.

In fact, many researchers say it’s the opposite!

In this case, there’s plenty of love to go around. You can feel the bond that these two have, and it’s unbreakable. The dad has actually shared quite a few other videos of his little boy.

You can tell he loves music, singing, and just being a cute boy. This video here is just great to see the two bonding.

One of the best things about the video is the baby’s laugh.

Dad comments, “I wish I could bottle that laugh.”

Many parents wish they could freeze time with their babies because time does go by so fast. Just think, this video was taken six years ago. This little guy is already 6 or 7 years old!

For his parents, this video and these times probably feel just like yesterday.

This is why it’s so nice to capture these moments on video so you can go back and watch them when you want a taste of nostalgia.

Parents love to watch their children as babies. Watching your kids as babies and looking at them today can really drive home the point of how fast time flies.

Enjoy times like these because they certainly go by way too fast.
