Apple pie is a classic dessert that never gets old. It’s sweet and tasty – what more can you ask for? My favorite part about apple pie is how much room there is to get creative and innovate. You can use different kinds of apples, add different toppings, and even pair it with other desserts to get a unique taste every time.

One such variation on apple pie is “apple pie fries.” It’s a finger-friendly dessert, which means its super family-friendly. Using just a few ingredients, you can make these delicious bites that will satisfy your entire family’s sweet tooth.

To start, you will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 Can Apple Pie Filling
  • 2 Pie Crusts (we used Pillsbury)
  • Eggs for Egg Wash
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp of Nutmeg
  • Sparkling Sugar

First, use your apple pie filling and spread it across your ready-made Pillsbury pie crust. Use your second pie crust, and place it on top of the bottom crust and the apple filing. Then, using a pizza cutter, cut slices into the dough, creating fry-like shapes. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle the toppings on top. Then place it into an oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

Once done, enjoy these delicious bites. I bet you can’t just eat one!
