“All happiness depends on a leisurely breakfast.” ‒ John Gunther.

What is your favorite breakfast?

Because of our busy schedule, most of us skip breakfast and go straight to work, even if we know how important our first meal is.

People who have little time would have cereal and milk, coffee, or just one toast.

Cooking breakfast isn’t always easy.

It takes time to cook eggs, bacon, hotdogs, bread, etc. No wonder most of us would rather just eat anything we find in the fridge.

You’re lucky if you have someone who will make you a hearty breakfast or if you have time to do it yourself.

Speaking of breakfast, the YouTube account The Simple Cook posted a breakfast recipe idea last January 26, 2022, and the recipe is loved by many.

It checks all the boxes.

It was healthy, filling, hearty, and easy to make.

  • 2 tablespoons of finely-chopped parsley
  • 100 grams of mozzarella
  • 150 grams of Turkey salami

Step 1:

The first step is to take out the middle part of your bread. Be careful with using the knife, and make sure you don’t remove too much of the bread. We don’t want to create a hole.

Step 2:

In a bowl, crack the seven eggs, but don’t whisk them. Directly pour them onto the bread and then set them aside.

Step 3:

Wash and chop your parsley and then spread them on your bread and egg.

Step 4:

Carefully place your Turkey salami on your bread and eggs, making sure you are covering the entire whole of the bread.

Step 5:

Now, the fun part. Grate your Mozzarella cheese. You can adjust how much depending on your taste and liking. Then, just cover your bread with it.

Step 6:

Bake your bread for about 30-40 minutes at 180°C. You can choose to cover it with foil if needed.

Step 7:

Top with chives and serve.

It’s nice to serve it while it is still warm. You can pair it with orange juice, milk, or coffee.

We love how crispy the outer part of the bread is. Then, the soft eggs, flavorful Turkey salami, and creamy cheese make this recipe really good.

We also love how you can create your twist to this delicious breakfast meal.

You can add bacon, pancetta, or sausage or even add more cheese if you want to.

How about trying out different cheeses?

You can also add garlic powder, chives, or whatever you think would compliment the bread and eggs.

Looks so good, don’t you agree?
