Their performance will make your jaw drop and your eyes pop.

When we talk about young adults or teenagers, especially boys, they spend most of their time facing their electronic gadgets and scrolling through social media apps, while others spend a bunch of their free time playing on their game consoles.

They focus too much on what is on the “worldwide web”, caring less about the reality that’s going on around them. It’s sad because the “good old days” are starting to fade away from society. We can’t speak in general though, but let’s face it, this is the generation of teens that we have in the world today.

With all this being said, there are still some who look beyond their age. They do splurge their time on things that will stroll them away from the “dangers” of technology and worldly desires. Some are into dancing, singing, and sports or other hobbies. After all, it makes the body and the mind a lot healthier.

Have you ever heard of “rhythmic gymnastics”?

You may have heard about gymnastics but maybe not this one. Rhythmic gymnastics is actually a sport, according to Wikipedia:

“Rhythmic gymnastics is a sport in which gymnasts perform on a floor with an apparatus: hoop, ball, clubs, ribbon or rope. The sport combines elements of gymnastics, dance and calisthenics; gymnasts must be strong, flexible, agile, dexterous and coordinated. Rhythmic gymnastics is governed by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), which first recognized it as a sport in 1963. It became an Olympic sport in 1984, with an individual all-around event.”

Yes, it was already a sport long before some of us even existed. The group all-around competition of this sport was added to the Olympics back in 1996, and at the international level, rhythmic gymnastics is a women-only type of sport.

This video, however, features a group of men.

They are the gymnasts of Ibara High School, can they live up to the demands of the sport?

Most people would say that it should be done with both the power and grace of a woman. However, this group of young boys will prove to us all that rhythmic gymnastics is a gender-neutral sport.

They waste no time. As soon as the music comes in, they immediately show how flexible they are. The coordination right off the bat is incredibly on point, they are all moving in unison, and the crowd recognizes the brilliance of this all-male group.

Timing, accuracy, agility, and synchronization, name it, they have it!

You may have seen a lot of dance groups before with incredible synchronization, but this one is totally different. While it’s pretty easy to do it on land, these teens do it mid-air! How about that?

From the backflips, front flips, and landing, everything is perfectly timed with the music.

These young gentlemen must have practiced their routine countless times, spending a lot of time and energy just to master it, then the time has finally come, and they did not disappoint.

Some people commented on the video, expressing how these gymnasts from Ibara High School wowed them while watching.

One YouTube user wrote:

“I’ve never seen anything like this before…I didn’t know people could move in such perfect synchronicity. Precision moves…they must have practiced for thousands of hours.”

While this one was looking for the group’s choreographer:

“Who is the TEAM IBARRA Choreographer? Ibarra has more artistic and technical difficulty compared to other men’s gymnast teams. Choreography is emotionally, dramatically heartwarming and captivating.”
