Use aluminum foil to cover the crust on your pies halfway through baking them. It will keep the crust from burning. Perfection!
Take new or used (but clean) tin foil and line the inside of a shoebox. Place your indoor seedlings in the box so they can get all the extra light possible reflecting from the foil’s surface.
#3 Get warmer in the winter
If you have old fashioned heaters, place a layer of aluminum foil behind them to reflect lost heat back into the house. You’ll be toasty warm for less money.
#4 Clean dirty cast iron pans
Do your pans tend to get baked-on messes? Crumble up a ball of tin foil and use it to scrub them away.
#5 Create uniquely shaped cakes
Do you want a cake that’s shaped like a mermaid? Use heavy-duty tin foil to create the shape and then place it in a cake pan.

Wrap several pieces of heavy-duty aluminum foil over the bottom of each furniture leg. The furniture will practically glide across the carpet. Don’t use this trick on regular floors, though. It may leave scratches.
Do you want to get creative with frosting but don’t have a piping bag? Fold your aluminum foil into a triangular shape and then fold it over on itself. It’s a simple solution and an instant piping bag.

Wrap your credit card in a piece of tin foil. It will prevent it from being scanned while it’s in your pocket, purse, or wallet.

Place aluminum foil on your furniture to deter pets. Eventually, they will stop trying to jump on the furniture, and you can take the foil off it.
