The typical 4-year-old kid would usually be still exploring the world around them. There is nothing that they would love to do more than to just play and collect toys. That is a given, and there is nothing wrong with it.

However, Luke Spring is no ordinary kid, this toddler loves to be on stage, not to play, but to dance instead. And when you see an unbelievable talent coming from such a young kid, there is nothing you can do but sit back and stare in awe.

His journey to stardom started early and this video is just one of the many proofs of this young boy’s talent.

Luke performed on a big stage with Justin M. Lewis back in 2011 at the D.C. Tap Festival, and together, they blew the audience away with an epic tap dance routine!

At the start of the video, our 4-year-old star is already centerstage waiting for Justin to come in.

What captured our attention is that they haven’t even started yet but the crowd is already boisterous. As they casually meet at the center, they go for a high-five, walk forward, and just seconds after, they immediately get down to business.

They both go into their lightning-fast taps and, oh boy, Luke has brought his A-game! He is not intimidated at all by his older partner, they are both awesome and in-sync with each other.

With your eyes closed, you would really think that the performers are the same age.

Luke could keep up with Justin and that alone is amazing!

Again, he was just a toddler when this awesome performance happened. Though Justin’s movements are more solid and refined, we can’t just simply deny the promising talent of the young boy. After all, it’s not every day that you get to see a 4-year-old kid that possesses such talent.

This boy is sure to go places because of his talent.

In fact, Justin also started dancing at an early age.

He is a native resident of D.C. and he started dancing when he was just 5 years old. Watching Luke dance is like watching himself when he was at that age, that’s most likely why they jive.

Lewis “began by watching the movie Tap with Gregory Hines,” according to his biography.

“Lewis then began to study dance at Knock On Wood Tap Studio in Silver Spring Maryland where he later became a member of the Pre-Professional Company, Tappers With Attitude (TWA). Under TWA Mr. Lewis danced on many famous stages including, Lincoln Theatre, Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap, Blues Alley, The Smithsonian, National Corcoran Gallery, The Apollo Theatre in New York City and many more.”

“Lewis was then accepted into a top Arts College in Chicago IL. He attended Columbia College Chicago from 2007-2009, where he majored in Performing Arts Management,” via his bio.

He has taken different dance jobs since then.

He became a dancer on “Tap Worx,” a tap show at Universal Studios in Hollywood. He was also a dancer for Rhythmic Circus’ “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now.” He’s been performing on different stages across the country and he has also performed at Super Bowl 52.

We can really say that he has made a successful run in his career as a dancer.

In the middle of their performance, the two tap dancers go toe-to-toe for a showdown.

That part was a little different, they both went on a rampage and brought out all that they have up their sleeves.

They took turns and showed everyone what they got, Justin was undeniably good but Luke didn’t let his older partner beat him that easily.

After a couple of rounds with their little battle, they jumped right back to being partners. They were in-sync throughout their tap dance routine, managing to stay in unison despite the complexity of their performance.

Talk about exhibitions?

There was a part of their routine where they did some kind of “touch the ground” tap dance. The synchronization between Luke and Justin was too perfect!

Soon, they ended their performance with another high-five. The crowd went crazy on their feet and gave the performers nothing but love and appreciation. In fact, not only the audience loved it but also those who saw their dance online.

The video amassed over 2.4 million views on YouTube with more than a thousand likes from amused online viewers. That’s no longer a surprise. I mean, who wouldn’t be impressed with their performance, right?
