Usually, in a morning rush, we are in a race against time. We are all in a hurry to get to our destinations, though our senses are just half-awake. What we normally do to wake ourselves up is to sip a hot brewed coffee, right?

But have you ever been awakened by a flash mob at 7:30 in the morning?

Well, it did happen at the Central Station in Antwerp, Belgium wherein more than 250 people gathered to give the crowd a morning surprise. A surprise of a lifetime that they will never forget.

We often saw these kinds of acts before the pandemic.

Flash mobs are everywhere! It can be done in a subway, theme park, airport, seaport, and school, almost everywhere spacious! A

flash mob is often referred to as an act from a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, where they perform for a brief time, then quickly disperse as if nothing happened. It’s mainly for entertainment purposes, satire, and artistic expression.

But this time, it’s to promote Grease, the Musical.

They decided to give the people a teaser on their opening week. Grease is a 1971 musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey.

“The show mentions social issues such as teenage pregnancy, peer pressure and gang violence; its themes include love, friendship, teenage rebellion, sexual exploration during adolescence, and, to some extent, class consciousness/class conflict.”

It’s a good thing that this 70s musical still has a strong influence on people from today’s generation.

And, apparently, a stronger punch than a brewed coffee!

“People are amazing. Why can’t we be more like this all the time, getting along doing something together regardless of age, colour or background. Love, peace and respect to all xx” one person said.

Another wrote:

And someone else even said it moved them to tears!
