When it comes to easy and delicious dinners, it’s hard to beat a well-made casserole. All you have to do is throw together a bunch of ingredients, throw it in the oven and enjoy when it’s all done. Though there are all kinds of different kinds of potential casseroles you could make, we find that the ones that begin with a hearty package of ground beef is a good place to start. 1. Chili Mac Casserole
Ingredients:
2 pounds of ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves of minced garlic
1 can of diced tomatoes
1 can of kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can of tomato paste
1 can of chopped green chilies
1 1/4 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon of chili powder
1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
2 cups of shredded Mexican cheese
Steps:
2. In a big skillet, cook your beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until all the pink is cooked out. Drain the excess fat.
3. Add your tomatoes, beans, tomato paste, chilis and seasonings. Add the cooked macaroni in as well.
4. Pour everything into a sprayed-down baking dish.
5. Bake the casserole, covered, at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
6. After that, uncover the dish and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake it for another five to eight minutes.

2. Firecracker Casserole
Ingredients:
1 chopped onion
1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
1-2 tablespoons of chili powder
2-3 teaspoons of ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon of salt
4 flour tortillas
1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 can of diced tomatoes and chilis

2. Add your beans, chili powder, cumin and salt and mix everything together.
3. When it’s cooked, pour everything into a baking dish. Put your tortillas on top of it all.
4. Mix your soup and tomatoes together and pour that over the tortillas. Sprinkle cheese on top.
5. Bake the dish at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. When it’s bubbly, serve!
3. Hamburger Casserole
Ingredients:
4 pounds of potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 onion, sliced
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of pepper
1 teaspoon of beef bouillon granules
1 cup of boiling water
1 can of diced tomatoes
minced parsley
Steps:
2. Sprinkle half of your salt and pepper on top and repeat the layers again.
3. Dissolve your bouillon in water and pour the mixture on top of everything else.
4. Add tomatoes on top.
5. Cover the Dutch oven and cook it over medium heat for 45 to 50 minutes.
6. Make sure the potatoes are tender and serve! Top with parsley.
4. Cabbage Roll Casserole
Ingredients:
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves of minced garlic
2 cans of tomato sauce
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
1/2 teaspoon of dill weed
1/2 teaspoon of rubbed sage
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of pepper
1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
2 cups of cooked rice
4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1 head of shredded cabbage
1 cup of shredded mozzarella

2. Get out a skillet and cook your beef and onion over medium heat, cooking out all the pink

7. Layer a third of the cabbage into a greased baking dish. Top it with half of your meat mix and repeat the layers.
8. Pour the rest of your tomato sauce on top before covering and baking for 45 minutes.
9. Uncover the casserole and sprinkle cheese on top. Bake again for 10 more minutes.
10. Let it sit for five minutes before sprinkling coarse pepper on top and serving.
5. Taco Salad Casserole
Ingredients:
1/4 cup of chopped onion
1/4 cup of chopped green pepper
1 packet of taco seasoning
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of crushed tortilla chips
1 can of refried beans
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
taco toppings

2. Stir in your taco seasoning and water and keep cooking and stirring for three minutes. When it thickens, set it aside.
3. Put your chips in a greased baking dish. In a side bowl, stir up your refried beans and spread them on top.

Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef
2 cans of diced tomatoes, drained
2 cups of mixed vegetables, thawed
1 can of tomato paste
1-2 teaspoons of Cajun seasoning
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
2 sliced green onions

3. Cook your beef in a skillet over medium heat before draining the excess fat.

1 bag of Fritos

Ingredients:
1 egg
1/2 cup of whole milk
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/2 pound of ground beef
1/2 pound of Italian sausage
1 chopped onion

1 jar of meatless spaghetti sauce
1 can of tomato sauce
1-2 cups of shredded mozzarella

Ingredients:
1 can of kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 can of corn, drained
1 can of condensed tomato soup
1/4 cup of milk
2 tablespoons of chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 tube of refrigerated biscuits
2-3 tablespoons of melted butter
1/3 cup of yellow cornmeal

2. In a saucepan, cook your beef over medium heat until all the pink is gone. Drain the excess fat.
3. Add your beans, corn, soup, milk, onion, chili powder and salt, mixing everything up. Bring the whole mix to a boil.

Ingredients:
2 pounds of ground beef
1 onion, chopped

1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon of chili powder
1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin

2 cups of shredded Monterey Jack cheese
2 jalapenos, seeded and chopped

2. Next, cook your beef and onion over medium heat in a pan, breaking everything up and cooking until all the pink is gone.
3. Add your garlic and cook for another minute before draining the extra fat.
4. Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato paste, green chilies, salt, chili powder, ground cumin and pepper.
5. Bring the whole thing to a boil before turning down the heat and simmering it for 10 minutes.
6. Drain the macaroni and stir it into the beef mixture as well.
7. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees before moving the macaroni mix into two greased baking dishes.
8. Top each one with cheese and jalapenos before covering them and baking for 30 minutes each.
9. Take the covers off and bake for another 10 minutes.

11. Shepherd’s Pie with Potato Crust
Ingredients:
1 1/2 pounds of ground chuck
1 1/2 cups of peas
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 cup of dry white wine
3 tablespoons of butter
1 1/2 cups of chopped onion
1 1/2 cups of chopped carrots
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
3 minced garlic cloves
3 tablespoons of flour
2 cups of beef broth
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon of chopped rosemary
1 teaspoon of chopped thyme
2 1/2 teaspoons of salt
1 teaspoon of ground pepper
Crust:
2 sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced thinly
2 Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and sliced
2 tablespoons of melted butter
Steps:
2. Add your wine and tomato paste, cooking and stirring for four to five more minutes.
3. Take the mix off the skillet and drain it out before wiping the skillet clean.
4. After that, melt your butter in the skillet and add your onions and carrots. Cook them over medium-high heat for four to five minutes until they turn brown and tender.
5. Add your garlic and keep cooking for 30 seconds. Stir in your flour and cook for another minute, stirring throughout.
6. Add your broth and bring it to a boil, stirring throughout.
7. Turn the heat down to medium and add in Worcestershire sauce, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper.
8. Simmer it for another 10 minutes before stirring in the peas and beef. Take the whole thing off the heat.
9. To make the crust, preheat your oven to 375 and then microwave your sweet potatoes and a quarter cup of water in a plastic-covered bowl for five minutes. Repeat this process for the Yukon gold potatoes.
10. Next, arrange two thirds of your potato slices in a greased baking dish to cover the bottom and the sides.
11. Scoop in your filling and put the rest of the potato slices on top, all slightly overlapping.
12. Brush the top with melted butter.
13. Next, bake your dish at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes until the potatoes get soft.
14. When that’s done, broil it for two to three minutes to get the potatoes crispy.
15. Let it sit for about 10 minutes before serving!
12. Pizza Spaghetti Casserole
Ingredients:
1 pound of bulk Italian pork sausage
2 jars of pizza sauce
1 package of diced pepperoni
1 cup of ricotta
1/3 cup of shredded parmesan
2 beaten eggs
2 cups of shredded mozzarella
fresh basil
Steps:
2. In a Dutch oven, cook and drain your pasta according to the instructions on the package. When they’re done, put the spaghetti back in the Dutch oven.
3. After that, put your sausage in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat until all the pink is cooked out of it. Drain the grease out as well.
4. In your Dutch oven, toss the spaghetti, sausage, pizza sauce and pepperoni.
5. In a medium bowl, mix together your ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese and eggs.
6. Scoop half of your spaghetti mix into the baking dish and scoop your ricotta mix on top of it, spreading it around evenly.
7. After that, sprinkle a cup of mozzarella cheese on top of that and top it off with your spaghetti mix. Repeat this one more time.
8. When it’s ready, bake the whole thing uncovered for 30-35 minutes.
9. At the end, garnish it with basil and enjoy!
13. Burrito Bake
Ingredients:
1 can of refried beans
1/4 cup of chopped onion
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 tube of refrigerated crescent rolls
1-2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
1-2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
additional toppings of your choosing
Steps:
2. In a big skillet, cook your beef over medium-high heat until all the pink is cooked out, breaking it up with a spoon throughout.
3. Add your beans, onion and taco seasoning as well.
4. After that, unroll your crescent dough and press it into the bottom and up the sides of your baking dish. Seal all the seams as well.
5. When you’re done, spread the beef mix over the crust and sprinkle it with all your cheeses.
6. Bake the whole thing uncovered for 30 minutes until the cheese turns golden brown.
7. When it’s all done, sprinkle your additional toppings on it and serve!
14. Greek Pasta Bake
Ingredients:
4 cups of cooked, cubed chicken
1 can of tomato sauce
1 can of drained diced tomatoes
1 package of thawed frozen spinach, squeezed dry
2 cans of drained olives
1/4 cup of chopped red onion
2 tablespoons of chopped green peppers
1 teaspoon of dried basil
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup of crumbled feta
Steps:
2. In another bowl, mix your pasta, chicken, tomato sauce, tomatoes, spinach, olives, onion, green pepper, basil and oregano.
3. Transfer everything to a greased up baking dish and sprinkle it with cheese.
4. When everything is assembled, bake the whole thing at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes until it’s heated through and the cheese melts.
5. Once it’s cool enough, slice into it and enjoy!
15. Taco Salad Casserole
Ingredients:
1/4 diced onion
1/4 green bell pepper
1 cup of crushed tortilla chips
1 can of refried beans
1/2 cup of water
1 package of taco seasoning
1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups of shredded lettuce
2 diced tomatoes
1 can of sliced olives
1 cup of sour cream
Steps:
2. In the meantime, break up your cup of crushed tortilla chips in the bottom of your greased up baking dish.
3. Heat your refried beans in a microwaveable bowl for about a minute. Spread those over the top of the tortilla chips.
4. When the meat gets browned, drain it and put it back on the stove. Add half a cup of water and taco seasoning as well and stir everything in.
5. Next, pour your browned meat on top of the beans.
6. Top everything with cheddar cheese and broil it in the oven for two to four minutes.
7. When it’s done, top it off with lettuce, tomatoes, olives and sour cream and enjoy!
16. Tortilla Pie
Ingredients:
5 flour tortillas
2 minced cloves of garlic
1 chopped onion
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
1 can of chopped green chilis
1 can of drained corn
1 can of chicken soup
2 sliced green onions
3 cups of shredded Mexican cheese
1 can of refried beans
1 can of enchilada sauce
1 teaspoon of chili powder
1/2 teaspoon of cumin
green onions and olives for garnish
Steps:
2. Next, add some oil to a cast iron pan and heat it over medium heat.
3. Add your onions and cook those for four minutes. After that, add garlic and cook it for another minute.
4. Transfer the whole mix into a medium bowl and add your cooked chicken.
5. Sprinkle the mix with chili powder and cumin on top of the chicken.
6. Add your cream of chicken soup along with chilis, corn, green onions and a cup of cheese. Stir it up well and set it aside.
7. In another medium bowl, stir it up with refried beans and enchilada sauce until it’s well-combined.
8. In the same pan, add a little oil and put a tortilla on the bottom.
9. Add another tortilla to that and spread your chicken mix on top of it.
10. Layer that with another tortilla and add half of your refried beans.
11. Repeat this with another layer and top it off with a tortilla.
12. Sprinkle the rest of your cheese on top and put it in the oven for 25-30 minutes.
13. When it’s done, let the dish cool slightly and enjoy!
17. Mexican Beef Cobbler
Ingredients:
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups of biscuit mix
1/2 cup of milk
1 can of whole corn, drained
1 jar of salsa
1 envelope of taco seasoning
1/8 teaspoon of ground pepper
Steps:
2. Stir in your taco seasoning, salsa and corn and heat everything through.
3. Pour everything into a baking dish and sprinkle the top with cheese.
4. In a smaller bowl, mix your biscuit mix and milk until it’s well-blended. Scoop this out in tablespoons over the cheese and sprinkle everything with pepper.
5. When it’s assembled, bake the dish uncovered at 350 degrees. Bake it for 35-45 minutes until it’s bubbly and golden brown.
6. Once it’s cooked, take it out, let it cool slightly and serve!
18. Three Bean Potluck Casserole
Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef
1 chopped onion
1 can of pork and beans
1 can of red kidney beans, drained
1 can of butter beans, drained
1/2 cup of light brown sugar
1/2 cup of ketchup
1 tablespoon of yellow mustard
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
Steps:
2. In a big Dutch oven, cook your bacon until it turns crispy and drain it on a plate with a paper towel.
3. Drain the Dutch oven out, saving only two tablespoons of fat.
4. Brown your ground beef and onions in the Dutch oven as well, saving the fat from that too.

19. Spanish Rice Bake
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of finely chopped onion
1/4 cup of chopped bell pepper
1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
1 can of tomatoes
1 cup of water
3/4 cup of uncooked rice
1/2 cup of chili sauce
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
black pepper
Steps:
2. Next, brown your ground beef in a big skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Drain the extra fat and move the beef to a big pot over medium low heat.
4. Stir in your onion, bell pepper, tomatoes, water, rice, chile sauce, salt, brown sugar, cumin, Worcestershire sauce and a pinch of black pepper.
5. Let the whole thing simmer for 30 minutes, stirring periodically.
6. When that’s done, transfer the whole thing into a casserole dish.
7. Press it all down and sprinkle the top with shredded cheddar cheese.
8. When it’s all done, bake it at 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese melts.
9. When it’s done, add chopped cilantro on top and serve.
20. Beef Bourguignon
Ingredients:
1 chopped onion
2 chopped carrots
1 clove of minced garlic
2 cups of red wine
1 bay leaf
3 tablespoons of chopped parsley
1/2 teaspoon of thyme
1 can of sliced mushrooms
1 can of canned onions
4 tablespoons of butter
2 pounds of cubed stew meat
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
Steps:
2. Drag your beef cubes through the mix as well.
3. Next, melt your butter in a skillet over medium high before adding your meat and browning it all over.
4. Pour the meat into a casserole dish.
5. After that, put your skillet back on the heat and add your onion, carrots and garlic. Saute everything for five to 10 minutes or until the onion gets soft.
6. After that, add your wine, bay leaf, parsley, thyme and mushroom liquid as well.
7. Pour that over your meat and bake the dish at 350 degrees for two and a half hours.
8. At the end of everything, take the cover off, add your canned onions and mushrooms on top and bake it all for 30 minutes.
9. When it’s done, let it cool for a minute and enjoy!
