If so, then this recipe is the perfect choice for you!

Made with stale croissants, eggs, ham, and lots of yummy cheese, this recipe is a crowd favorite and everyone will be asking where you learned it from.

The first thing you need is 5 stale croissants; if the ones you have aren’t stale, leave them out on the counter the night before you plan to make this recipe, or bake them for a few minutes in a 350-degree oven.

You will need to cut each croissant in half, lengthwise, then place the bottoms in an oven-safe pan.

After the croissants are ready, simmer the milk and clove of garlic, stirring often, until the scent of the garlic is released, about 8 minutes, set aside to let cool.

While the milk is simmering, whisk 4 eggs and then add your salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

Now strain the garlic milk into the eggs and whisk vigorously until the mixture is completely blended.

Next, take your slices of ham and chop them up into 1/4 inch pieces then sprinkle them over the croissant bottoms.

Once the croissants are covered in the ham, cut a ball of fresh mozzarella into 1/4-inch thick slices and lay them evenly over the croissants.

It is time to place the croissant tops back with the bottoms and press them down gently.

Take your gruyere cheese and grate it all, then spread half of it on top of the croissants.

Now pour your egg and milk mixture over the croissants and, using a fork, firmly press down all over the croissants until they are mostly covered by the liquid.

Press out as much of the air in the croissants as possible so it absorbs the milky mixture.

Set this aside for about 20 minutes so the liquid can fully absorb, and then top it with the remaining gruyere cheese.

Now place the pan with your cheesy, eggy, croissants into a 325-degree oven and let it cook for about 30 minutes until it is golden brown and fluffy.

Remove it from the oven and let it sit for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.

Now, for a little bonus recipe, you can make this delicious and easy egg salad.

Bring 8 eggs to a boil and then reduce that to a simmer, let the eggs simmer for 10 minutes.

Peel each egg and cut them all in half, remove the yokes from 4 of the eggs and keep the whites to use another time.

Chop the 4 full eggs and 4 yokes then put them all into a large bowl.

Finely chop 1 tbsp. of fresh dill and add it to the eggs with salt and pepper to taste.

Scoop out 5 tbsp. of mayonnaise and quickly but gently mix it all in.

You now have a delicious egg salad that would go great in a fresh croissant, or any other soft and flakey bread you can think of.

Hopefully with these 2 recipes, your next brunch party will be a delicious hit!
